Sushi Planet
Hello human! We are Sushi Planet, a Japanese cosmic pop duo formed on Christmas day in 2016. Dr. Sushiyakko (Suzuko Hori) plays trombone and sings, Mr. Sushi (Soshi Kubota) plays vibraphone. Both of them graduated from Berklee College of music, Boston in 2017 Fall.
In July 2018, they has released first EP “Orizume 1”. Orizume means a tiny bento box for sushi. Three sushis are heading to the universe in a rocket named “Orizume 1”. Yes sushi can go anywhere even though to the universe!
Sushi Planet declares that they will provide some happy music for sushi, of sushi, by sushi. Let’s sing sushi songs together as if you became a sushi. 😀

寿司プラネットは、トロンボーンのすし奴（すしやっこ）とビブラフォンのミスター寿司によるコズミックポップデュオです。2016年のクリスマスに活動開始しました。二人とも2017年の12月にバークリー音楽大学をなんとか卒業しまして、2018年7月には初EP”Orizume 1”をリリースしました。

”Orizume 1” に収録されたバラード「握れない夜」のミュージックビデオです。ビブラフォン窪田想士（ミスター寿司）による、どこか切なくて美しいメロディをお楽しみください。 映像は、寿司惑星の二人が共に学んだバークリー音楽大学のあるボストンの色々な風景、お寿司屋さんの写真、そして寿司惑星の活動軌跡をふんだんに散りばめました。へーこんなところなのかーと思っていただけると嬉しいです。

Soshi Kubota (aka Mr. Sushi) , a great vibraphone player of Sushi Planet, composed such a lyrical and somewhat nostalgic song “Nigirenai Yoru”. Suzuko Hori (aka Sushiyakko) edited the movie for this beautiful song using photos and videos landscapes of Boston, where Mr. Sushi and Sushiyakko had learned music together. Nigirenai means “can’t make it(sushi)” and yoru means nights. hope you enjoy this tune!

Sushi Planet covered The Blue Hearts’ “Love Letter”
ブルーハーツの「ラブレター」をカバーしました。
ブルーハーツはすし奴もミスター寿司も大好きなバンドで、特にミスター寿司はブルーハーツが好き過ぎて全ての曲を全てのキーで演奏できます。

Sushiyakko and Mr.Sushi loves The Blue Hearts, one of the famous punk rock’n’ roll band in Japan. This is Sushiyakko’s most favorite song of The Blue Hearts. Mr. Sushi loves The Blue Hearts so that he can play all songs of in any keys.
